Installation
INSTALLATION - The BOMACH Plank is easily installed on a traditional wood sub-structure of 2x6, 2x8, or 2x10 lumber. Likewise it is just as easily installed on an aluminum, steel or other composite structural material sub-structure. The only difference being the type of screw required for the installation.
The plank may be installed using BOMACH retaining/mounting clips or the direct method. When using the retaining/mounting clip method a starter clip is first installed. One side of the first plank is then inserted into the starter clip. The other side and one side of the next plank are then secured by the Tee Mount Clip. This process of securing planks using Tee Mount Clips is repeated till the last plank is installed where the final side of the last plank is secured again using a Starter Clip. Alternatively the last side of the final plank may be secured using a self drilling screw in the lip of the final plank. Note the use of the Tee Mount Clip also ensures even spacing between planks.
An alternative method of securing planks, without the use of the clips, is also available. In this, the direct installation method, self drilling screws are used in the lip of plank.
